Kesar Pista Ice-Cream with a touch of elaichi in it is a home made ice cream. Very easy to make at home and loved by kids. I have tried myself and now ask you people to try at home and do let me know how you liked it
Ingredients:
- Milk (100% Fat) - 2 cups
- Milk Powder - 1 cup
- Castor Sugar - ½ cup
- Corn Flour - 1 tbsp
- Saffron Strands (Kesar) - 2-3 tsp
- Cardamom Powder (elaichi) - 2 tsp
- Fresh Cream - ½ cup
- Chopped Pista - 1/2 cup
Method:
- In a mixing bowl mix well 1 cup milk, milk powder & cornflour and keep aside
- Heat a saucepan on gas, add sugar, saffron, cardamom powder and another cup milk and mix well then
- Then add milk mixture prepared earlier in this and stir well until the mixture gets thickened
- Add fresh cream and chopped pista in it and keep stirring until the thick mixture is ready
- Once done pour the mixture in serving bowl and refrigerate for 3-4 hours
- Then scoop out chilled kear pista ice cream in ice cream bowl and serve to your families
